1. Who we are

rachelkahana.com is operated by Rachel Kahana, artist and maker (“the studio”), Avi Ezri 32, Modiin Illit, Israel. Phone: 053-5546719. Email: studio.rachelk@gmail.com. The business is a VAT-registered dealer (osek murshe). VAT no.: to be updated shortly [to be completed].

2. Services

The studio offers craft workshops at the studio (Havdalah candle carving and Scented Layered Shake Candle), workshops at the customer’s location by quote, gift vouchers and hand-carved candles.

3. Booking and payment

  1. Booking on the site includes choosing a workshop, a time and the number of people, and paying in full by credit card through the payment provider Cardcom.
  2. A booking is confirmed only once the payment is approved. A confirmation is sent by WhatsApp and email.
  3. Prices on the site are in Israeli shekels (₪) and include VAT. The price is set by the number of people at the time of booking. A tax invoice/receipt is emailed after payment.
  4. Your time slot is held for 15 minutes while you fill in your details, and you can extend it.

4. Cancellations and changes

Cancellations and date changes follow the cancellation policy, which is part of these terms.

5. Payment by link

Rachel may send a personal payment link for an amount and description agreed in advance, for example a workshop at your venue or a special order. Payment is made through Cardcom, and a confirmation is sent by WhatsApp and email. Cancellation follows the cancellation policy, or what was agreed in the quote. 6. Gift vouchers

  1. A “workshop for two” voucher is worth the amount paid. For a studio workshop of the recipient’s choice. If the workshop costs more on the day it is redeemed, you pay the difference. An “any amount” voucher gives credit for the chosen amount (minimum 50 ₪).
  2. Redeem on the site: choose a workshop and a time and enter the voucher code at checkout. If the workshop costs more than the voucher, you pay the difference.
  3. Vouchers are valid for 6 months from purchase. The purchase date and the expiry date appear on the voucher. Any unused balance stays on the code until it expires.

7. Shop purchases

  1. Candles are 205 ₪ each, gift-wrapped. Studio pickup is free; home delivery is 50 ₪ per order.

8. Launch offer

  1. Until 30 Nov 2026 inclusive: launch prices (about 10% below the regular price list) on studio workshops, shop candles (not on the delivery fee) and the “workshop for two” voucher (the voucher keeps its full value).
  2. The offer does not apply to any-amount vouchers, payments by link, or workshops at your place.
  3. The price is set by the time of booking and payment, even if the workshop takes place after the offer ends.
  4. On cancellation, the refund and the cancellation fee are calculated from the amount actually paid.
  5. After the offer ends, the regular price list applies.

9. Safety and liability

  1. Workshops involve hot wax, sharp tools and open flames. Please follow Rachel’s instructions.
  2. Children may take part from the age stated for each workshop, under the responsibility of a parent or accompanying adult.
  3. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

10. Intellectual property

The images, text and design on this site belong to the studio and may not be copied without written permission.
